The answer is self-evident. Life is what I like about my life right now. We are self-aware. We love, we create, we relate and yes we fight, argue and destroy too but this is our existence. I love it all.

On November the 30th, 2008 Naomi completed the Philadelphia Marathon. It was our first! I completed in 4:47 and Naomi in 6:30. It was an amazing experience!

This weekend I was reminded of the lesson of being attentive. I was working with a chainsaw preparing our winter stock of firewood when I carelessly grazed my left shin with it. Fortunately the wound was minor but it was a wake up call to be very attentive with tool that can do that much dammage.

My dream is to be a music composer and producer making my own music and helping others realize theirs. Slowly but surely, as my wife and I simplify and re-dedicate our efforts to sustainable living, this is coming to be.

Had a great first jam with musicians that play in the same style as I enjoy listening. This is truly a major leap forward for me musically as I've alway had to set aside my preferences for the opportunity to play with other folks. Playing and composing alone is fine but there is nothing like playing with others.
